‘With Every Touch We Will Be Reborn’ (‘Cu Fiecare Atingere Vom Renaște’) performatively explores stories that cronologically – from the `70s to the future – traverse important stages of this silenced history and present us archival materials and subjective narratives, which are centered around representative local queer moments. A history that reclaims its right of being represented in varied ways. A history that becomes freeing when it is spoken. A history that retrieves and imagines a common fluid future.Cause with the imagination the healing touch will lie!

During the event, the following films will be presented: `Sașa and Petre’ (‘Sașa și Petre’), by Luca Istodor, ‘Dungeons and other hiding places’ (‘Temnițe și alte ascunzișuri’), by Bogdan Balla, and ‘The Articol 200 abrogation at TV in 2000 and 2001’ (‘Abrogarea Art. 200 la TV în anii 2000 și 2001’), by Ana Ciutu.

The price of the ticket is 20 RON.
The event is organized with the support of ACCEPT, within Bucharest Pride (6-14.08.2021). This year’s theme is ‘Come out. Speak up.’ In 2021 we`re celebrating 20 years since the repeal of the Article 200 of the Penal Code, which criminalized homosexuality, and together we take a look at the evolution of our rights and communities over the last 20 years, trying to build together an inclusive and secure future for everyone. We are together again, building safe spaces in which our identity is being celebrated.
