We are in Spain in the summer of 1999. Dani and Nico are two teenagers spending their seaside holidays eager to experience new sensations. Together with two cousins of the same age, the two good friends discover new attractions and sometimes contradictory desires.
While Nico’s attention is captured by Elena, Dani feels more and more attracted to his good friend and less interested in Berta. Jealousy, desire and inner conflict mark a summer full of discoveries.
The film, directed by Cesc Gay, the Goya Award winner, was awarded the Youth Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
