Beloved queer community,
Within Bucharest Pride 2024, Queer Dancefloors – “DANCE WORKSHOPS – Club Styles: Waacking, Voguing & House dance” is an event with a series of dance workshops, as well as valuable knowledge about their origins.
We invite you on Sunday June 23, starting at 16:00, at INFLUX (Bulevardul Theodor Pallady 287) to participate in dance workshops with Irina Elle, Waana Neagu and Swagger, along with a series of Q&A’s at the end of each workshop . We are pleased to have as teachers the three professional dancers who have experience and exposure to important sources in dance culture, their knowledge being deepened by the pioneers and founders of the dance styles they teach.
The schedule for the workshops will be:
- Waana Neagu: WAACKING Workshop + Q&A (16:00 – 17:00)
- Swagger: HOUSE Workshop + Q&A (17:20 – 18:20)
- Irina Elle: VOGUE Workshop + Q&A (18:40 – 19:40)
Important: There may be schedule delays, there are several aspects that we take into account: the duration of the Q&A may be variable, also the breaks between workshops may vary depending on the energy of the group.
What will you learn?
During the event you will learn the basics of dance styles, as well as information about the history, music and culture specific to the style. We will learn, dance, have fun together and remember how these dance styles were born in queer communities.
All ages and bodies are welcome, regardless of shape or training. No dance experience necessary.

For a good running of the courses:
– comfortable change of footwear is required
– participation is done exclusively on the basis of registration and reservation of place
