Marina is a young waitress and aspiring singer in a nightclub in Santiago. Orlando, her two decades older lover, dies unexpectedly. Marina’s painful loss is doubled by a situation full of injustice. Orlando’s family does not trust her. Marina is a transgender woman, and her gender identity is unacceptable for Orlando’s relatives.

The feature film Una Mujer Fantástica, is the Oscar winner for the Best Foreign Language Film.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Alexis and Gabi Urdoff, the couple involved in human rights and transgender rights activism.
